Terms of Use
The rules for accessing the Kawlya website and using our AI-assisted telephone reception service.
Draft for review before publication, particularly the commercial terms, applicable law and caller information arrangements. KAWLYA’s identity, European hosting with Hetzner and 30-day call recording retention are included.
1. Purpose and operator
Kawlya is a service for businesses, particularly garages, that helps handle telephone enquiries and customer requests. These terms describe permitted use of kawlya.com and the principles for using the service.
The website and service are operated by KAWLYA, a French simplified joint-stock company (SAS), with its registered office at 47 rue Vivienne, 75002 Paris, France. SIREN: 106 479 041. Registered office SIRET: 106 479 041 00019. Contact us at contact@kawlya.com.
Subscriptions are subject to the commercial terms presented when placing an order. Those terms must specify pricing, billing, renewal, cancellation and commitments relating to the selected plan. This page does not replace that contractual information.
2. Marketing website and customer account
The kawlya.com website presents Kawlya’s features and plans. You can browse it and contact our team without creating an account. Registration, login and subscription management take place in the application at app.kawlya.com.
When opening an account for a business, you must be authorised to act on its behalf and provide accurate, up-to-date information. Protect your login details, restrict access to authorised people and tell us about suspected unauthorised access.
3. How the service works
Depending on your plan and configuration, Kawlya can answer calls in French, collect enquiries, book, reschedule or cancel appointments and send reminders. The dashboard helps you follow calls, appointments and requests requiring attention.
You are responsible for keeping your business hours, services, availability, resources, closures and business information up to date. Answers about repair progress depend on information entered by your team.
Your team remains responsible for handling quote and callback requests. The service does not guarantee live transfer to an employee or an automated outbound callback. Available features and limits are those included in your subscribed plan.
4. Artificial intelligence and human review
Kawlya uses automated systems that may misunderstand a request or produce an inaccurate response. Check important information and arrange human intervention when needed, particularly for disputes, safety questions or unusual requests.
The service does not replace the technical expertise of an automotive professional and must not be used as an emergency system. It does not guarantee a particular number of bookings, revenue or commercial result.
5. Subscriptions, usage and the 14-day guarantee
Plans are available with monthly or annual billing. Payment is taken at signup: the first 14 days are not a free trial before payment. Applicable prices and the annual discount are presented before you place your order.
Kawlya offers a money-back guarantee during the first 14 days following signup. To request a refund and end your subscription during that period, contact contact@kawlya.com with your account email and signup date. Refund processing arrangements must be specified in the commercial terms.
Included minutes renew monthly, including on annual subscriptions. Additional minutes require activation and are billed separately. Without activation, reaching the allowance may make telephone reception temporarily unavailable until the quota renews. Plan changes and cancellation are managed through the dashboard, under the terms presented at signup.
6. Acceptable use
Use Kawlya only for lawful activities and respect the rights of others. Do not attempt to access another user’s account, bypass protections or service limits, introduce malicious content or disrupt the service.
Do not submit personal data unless you are authorised to do so. Inform your callers about the processing you arrange and obtain consent where necessary, including for call recording. Avoid sharing sensitive information that is not needed for the enquiry.
Calls handled by Kawlya are recorded, and recordings are retained for 30 days from the call to help investigate complaints. Data is hosted in Europe with Hetzner. Callers must be informed at the beginning of the call about the purpose, retention period and how to exercise their rights.
7. Third-party connections
Google and Outlook calendar connections and integrations through Zapier, Make, APIs and webhooks depend on configuration and the permissions you grant. You choose which services to connect and should check what information they receive.
Third-party providers apply their own terms and policies. Changes or outages in their services may affect an integration. Revoke access that is no longer needed and regularly check synchronisations that are important to your business.
8. Availability, content and rights
Access may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, incidents or problems affecting a network or provider. This page does not establish a numerical uptime commitment; any specific commitment must be stated in your contract.
Kawlya’s trademarks, text, visuals and software are protected by applicable rights. Browsing the website or subscribing does not transfer ownership of those materials. You retain the rights you hold in content supplied by your business.
The parties’ responsibilities, warranties and any limitations relating to a subscription must be defined in the contract, subject to mandatory law. Nothing on this page is intended to exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Personal data, changes and contact
The privacy policy explains how enquiries sent to our team, technical website data and call recordings are handled. Processing your customers’ data in the application also requires the information and agreements appropriate to your subscribed service.
This page may be updated to reflect changes to features or applicable rules. An effective date will be added on publication. Contractual changes affecting subscriptions must be communicated under the arrangements set out in the contract.
For questions or complaints, email contact@kawlya.com. [Complete before publication: applicable law and dispute resolution arrangements, after checking the operator’s identity and the customer groups concerned.]
